Today's journey 7/4/2013

Here's the Russian Orthodox Church in Kenai. Built in 1794. Quite interesting.

This was on a corner along the highway, we saw the totem pole and wanted to get a photo and then saw all the other stuff. This guy was a hoot and personality was fantastic. A young man with 5 kids. He said he's thought about bringing his kids down in torn clothes for when people try to Jew him down in price and then his kids would have a script of " please by a bear from my daddy, sir, we are hungry, the winters are long and cold..." He really is good at his wood carvings.

Just when we thought we had left Mike Freitas home to take care of our lawn...

Our 1st BULL moose, right along the highway. He was leisurely eating grass and could care less that he was so close to speeding traffic.

His antlers are in the velvet.

Another cow along the field.
